Dogs are very smart and have earned due respect from man. They're mans best friend and are at their best in many ways. They love with all their heart and there's nowhere else they'd rather be. They're your loving forever friend. They trust you and ask for little, content with some food, water and love. They don't care what you are wearing or if you forgot to shave. Their love is unconditional. If you own a dog you've struck gold and none of this is news to you...

Cats, in their own silent way, are smart in a different way. They know the terminally ill, detect cancer and will lay down close to that person. They just know. Additionally, it's well known that cats are healers especially for the elderly, lowering blood pressure, easing stress and bringing comfort to those who need it no matter who they are.
