if the last card is a bonus card (a gold card) it will not click it.

I haven't seen that one. you should go to the pogopal page and email them so they can check it out. ;)

I just had that problem as well.  The entire game was complete, except for 1 gold card. Instead of clicking the gold card, nothing happened.
