Greetings,
The 8 GEMS once a week seems to be a deal.  OH NO, I feel like I'm robbing POGO.

Greetings,
Do the Indian Casinos play for keeps or do you get your money back?

Let's be honest here - Pogo does nothing unless it benefits them. They're getting far more from this "magical deal" than the players are.

Lots of people in the Pogo Forums upset about spending 16 gems on a token prize! I did the first one to get the future MnM for 8 gems. Not a gambler thankfully because we have 10 Indian casinos in my city alone.

You also have the chance to win pogo gems - 36/75 cards are pogo gem prizes.

But it's not even a gamble where I stand to gain anything.  If each turn (after the first) costs 16 gems, I might as well wait 2-3 months and buy the MnM at full price.  The only thing I stand to gain, at best, by taking part in this new program is to get the badge a little early?  My 16 gems might wind up getting me some tokens, too, and not the badge.  Not my idea of fun.  I'll watch to see if anything else turns up but it seems a little silly to me.   undecided.gif

No, you're not missing anything - it's a gamble.

It sounds worth it to do it for the first time as it is just like getting a MixNMatch badge for 50% off.  After that, the math hurts my head.  I'm not willing to spend 16 gems on subsequent "turns" to only get a token prize.   Am I missing something?  <-- quite possible.

More details have surfaced today regarding the Magical Mix-n-Match Surprise that Pogo is planning for us. In the last teaser post, we learned that Pogo was working on a magical new twist to make collecting Mix-n-Match badges even more fun.

In a Behind-the-Scenes post today, we learn more about artist Pogo Marshall and in his interview he shares a few details about the upcoming Mix-n-Match surprise:

This is a magical new way for Club Pogo members to collect Mix-n-Match Badges. These will be called Mix-n-Magic badges, they're Mix-n-Match badges that are designed in groups of 3 with a common theme. The theme may be simple like color, or more complex to share a story in three badge images.

These badges are planned on the schedule in groups of 3 different games, unlike the Mix-n-Match bundles that were built around the same game.

Pogo will give us more details about Mix-n-Magic badges next week.

Maybe they are going to offer hard copies of them so we will actually have something for all of our wasted money.
