I have not tried the new tiles yet, but I feel they would stand out nicely.

I use the traditional tiles but these geometric tiles look clear and differentiated.  It might work well in the game.

You can now find the geometric tiles in Mahjong Gardens HD by clicking on the Tiles button and selecting Geometric Tiles.
