Nice! We have deer around here, but I've only seen them walk past on the road.

If they ever start to become an issue, I'll be sure to try this!

Perfectly.  I think it's better than any commercially available repellent.   Deer never touch my plants, including hosta, which is one of their favorites.

Deer Repellent - organic, meaning no chemicals.
1 heaping Tbsp. minced garlic
1 Tbsp hot sauce
1 egg

Mix all three ingredients in one cup of water and let sit overnight in the refrigerator.  Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into an empty spray bottle (Windex bottle, Spray N' Wash, etc).  Fill the rest of the bottle with water.  Shake bottle before each use and spray liberally on landscaping.  After each use, rinse out the bottle's hose and nozzle.  Spray MUST be stored in the refrigerator or mold will grow.

I never heard of that before. How well does that work?

Thanks!  I don't personally use hot sauce but I use it in my homemade deer repellent when I spray the landscaping.
