I also liked him in any movie, but mostly I grew up watching Maverick, then the Rockford files. another great Actor we have lost. May he rest in peace now. he will be missed also.   angel19.gif

I heard this, too, and was very sad. Though I read an article years ago that said he was in tremendous pain most of the time he was filming Rockford Files. I have to admit... I'm happy for him. No more illness, no more pain... he's in a better place.

Actor James Garner, whose whimsical style in the 1950s TV Western Maverick led to a stellar career in TV and films such as The Rockford Files and his Oscar-nominated Murphy's Romance, has died, police said. He was 86


I liked Jim Garner....he was a very good actor and had a great sense of humor.  So sad to see the good ones leave.   sad.gif
