I'm sure they are very aware of their surrounding, don't you think?
I'm surprised that whale was feeding so close to shore.  I wouldn't think large krill populations would be there.  Live and learn.

I'm less afraid of sharks than I am of whales. Maybe I'm just afraid of being at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Imagine swimming by the dock when the whale comes up to feed below you ... you'd be gone in one gulp!

I would love it.  I want to swim with whale sharks, too.  Largest fish in the ocean and only eats krill and plankton.

I would rub it all over and start making my underwater whale sounds!  I'd then hang onto a flipper and go for the ride!
