What I did was : Create Basic Task > One Time > Set Time / Date > Start a Program

Then I pointed to the BingSearchBot.exe file that was sitting on my Desktop screen.

I'm running Windows 10 64-bit.
Curious as to what settings you used and the location of the file on your PC.
Currently I have it stored in my "Downloads" folder.

I'll look in to it and see what's going on. What OS are you using?

Edit: Just did a quick test with Task Scheduler in Windows 10 64bit and it launched normally.

Yes, "Show the Internet Explorer window" option is checked. I've tried it on the current release 2.3, and 2.4 Beta 5.
Same result.
Launching the app normally works well. It's just when it's launched from the task scheduler, it doesn't launch as expected.

Do you have "Show the Internet Explorer window" option enabled in the "Misc Options" tab?

Also, what version of BingSearchBot are you using?

Thanks for the quick response!
When the daily task runs, the Bing Bot program window doesn't launch, although it's running in task manager.
I've manually added the autostart settings in the .ini file, which works, but only if the program window launches.
This works if I launch the Bing Bot program manually.
Right now the issue is to get the program to launch expanded, with the daily task.

When you say "without ever launching the window", do you mean the BingSearchBot program window itself - or the IE window the bot loads up?

If you want to schedule the bot on a system level, edit your BingSearchBot.ini setting file and add : AutoStartBot=1

That will auto start the bot when loaded, and auto closes it when finished.

Has anyone had success with running the program in task scheduler daily?
I've setup a task to run daily, and although it executes, it appears to run in the tasks without ever launching the window.
Currently the program's settings to run daily don't always work, so I'm attempting to do this from the system level.
Any help would be appreciated.
