Yeah, that doesn't make any sense. I assumed he would be going to some minimum security housing complex.

Indeed. I just read that he's going to a new maximum security prison that opened up in June.

Bill Cosby has been sentenced to 3 to 10 years to be served in a Pennsylvania state prison for his 3 sexual assault convictions.

This also means his name will appear on a sex-offender registry, which is sent to neighbors and schools. He also has to undergo lifetime counseling and must report quarterly to authorities.

If Cosby serves the full term, he'll be 91 when he's released.
