All the kids had their parents tagging a long as well around the neighborhood.

Lot of fireworks too, but unfortunately nothing like what you guys in the US are allowed to fire off. Anything good down there is illegal here in Canada (bottle rockets, fire crackers, anything with a really loud bang, etc).

I bought one of the Costco bags of 150 pieces of chocolate. I let each kid choose one candy and at the end of the night I had only about 15 pieces left. My grandkids came by to show me their costumes so I sent those 15 pieces home with them.
Last year I had a lot of teens. This year not so many. Mostly kidlettes. And almost all the kids had parents with them which made me happy. And the parents didn't just stand at the sidewalk and watch. They came all the way to the door.
