Well...that's the lore...but you could interpret it as St. Pat bringing Christianity to Ireland...and driving the "snakes" out (old Pagan ways).  dancing16.gif

I saw a documentary on why there are no snakes in Ireland and it happened long before St. Pat.  Ya gotta love science!  magnifier.gif

I heard the snakes were gone well before Maewyn Succat (St Pat) was even born. He was THAT good!

Interesting "fact" about Saint Patrick's day.  He became a saint for driving the snakes out of Ireland.  Yup, no snakes there.
