ThunderPopper II won it's first game a couple of minutes ago.

excellant job!!!!!!  O0  im in no hurry for it - at this moment. there is no current weekly challenge for it so i can and am still patiently waiting.  its better to have it done right than half done when its released.  im almost done with rank 49 in casino island blackjack but from what i hear u need a TON of eruptions to get from rank 50 to 51.

if the new release aint out by the time i finish that game, i can work on www. im on z7 there.

so in my book,  u got plenty of time.  keep up the excellant job.   O0

Got that right about it being complex lol. Games being a mostly human activity, and not computers, it seems kind of daunting to make such programs, especially ones involving so many colors and all that jazz.  We have some of the most talented programmers in their field at our disposal, and they never seem to dissappoint, looking forward to this one as well, Oscar. Sounds like it will be another winner. O0

Here is an email I just received from a customer:

I was just wondering when and If the new version is coming out.  You state
on your webpage that it takes 3 days to upgrade the program. Well, it has
taken 4 days already and i would like to find out when the new version of
Stoppit will be released.

My response to everyone that thinks like this:

When I get done with it, it will be done. I don't feel I owe anyone "play by play" and hour by hour updates.
Hi, my name is Barbie....are you a developer? I think I love you, will you be my "boyfriend"? Yeah, I'm annoying and a liar....my husband? No, Davey doesn't care...

Latest update 3/19/05 5PM PST:

We are upgrading as we speak.IF YOU HAVE ALREADY PAID FOR A POPPIT AUTO then you will get this for free. Keep checking the website for the latest update. When it comes out, delete the version you have and download the latest version. It will recognize that you are registered.WE DO NOT KNOW WHEN WE WILL RELEASE TPII. We are working as hard as we can on this. Expected release is Sunday or Monday.

Can I assume you will let us know here when the TPII will be released? So all of us who want to try it right away can sign up to get e-mail notifications on this thread?

Wouldn't it be funny if the programmer's wives and girlfriends were members of the forum also and saw this?  Please let that cake be chocolate.   ;)

RocknRollGirl

Just read all of the post on this subject and just wanted to add "Way To Go" on giving us the facts as you have them.  As for baking the guys a cake or pie, let me know what kind you like the best and I will make it for you.  And Barb as usual you keep me laughing all of the time and sorry Bob I do not own any lycra......lol.....and not sure that I want to.....lol.

Janadra

From cake to lycra...sometimes it makes you wonder how a person's train of thought can get so skewed.  :P

I love Black Velvet Cake! Yumm! Try this:

2 cups slivered almonds, slightly toasted
12 oz. chocolate chips
1 pkg. devil's food cake mix
1 pkg. (3-1/2 oz.) instant chocolate pudding
4 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond extract
1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Sprinkle 1/2 cup almonds on bottom of greased 10-inch tube pan. Set aside rest of almonds and chocolate chips. Place remaining ingredients in mixer bowl. Beat 4 minutes. Fold in chips and almonds, then pour into pan. Bake in 350°F oven 60 to 70 minutes. Cool 15 minutes and remove from pan. Serve with topping of whipped cream if desired.
