Geez, Runner this is getting ridiculous! I just bought a lot of badges for 16 gems. They have a tourniquet on me.  :))

We may not like this but it is the way that the retail world works.  We have all bought something and a week or so later find that it is on sale for less.  Unlike Pogo most stores with give you back sale price if you bring in your receipt within a number of days or weeks if you can.  I think that it is our fault because we buy the minute something new comes out--we new Pogo self-control! :OO

I purposefully haven't bought any new Mix and Match badges for 4 months because I knew that eventually they would go on sale; if not for a special occasion like this then for when they are about to expire and become unavailable.

I am so glad I saved the Gems!  :^*

Badges are cool and all that, but I ain't paying Pogo just so I can get more. The annual membership is already out of the bounds of reason, and they ain't gettin' anymore of my money.

I guess three of the badges that came out last month are on sale - Euchre, Golf Solitare and Mahjong Safari. Hadn't picked up the badges from last month so I'll save a little.

I wouldn't be that upset if I had already bought those badges, and I DID pay full price for all of the other badges that are on sale. Let me tell you, I bought a new house in 2006 (right at the VERY end of the housing boom) and in the last two years, I've watched the value of my home fall about 80 grand. I'm sure it'll bounce back eventually, but THAT'S painful!  >:((
