What a lucky guy that he could realize a dream based on his hobby. Tolkien always was very detailed in the drawings that he included with his stories.  His artistry was fantastic (see what I did there?  )  I started with The Hobbit when I was around 11 years old, and progressed to the Trilogy.  My favourite of his was Letters from Father Christmas.  It was extraordinary.

I love the hobbit house!  That woodwork!  Those windows and door!  I've never been a big Tolkien fan but love that hobbit house.
