If the Jigsaw auto (or any auto for that case) is giving you problems, please make sure your using the latest version of Java.

You can check by going to your Control Panel / Java Plug-in.

Once loaded, click on the "About" tab and you should see this :

If your version is not 1.4.2_06, click on the Update tab and it should look like this :

Click on the "Update Now" button, and once it's finished installing, reboot your computer. Hope this helps!

Change your screen resolution to 1024x768  O0

Let me start off by saying this 3.0 is way better than 2.0.  It completed a puzzle for me!   ;D  Granted it took 24 minutes, but at least it completed it!  LOL

Now for the 2 issues I had...

Hitting [ESC] didn't always stop the auto.  I had the auto window pop up, but it just kept running.  I was still able to right-click the icon down by my clock to shut it off though, so no biggie.

After completing the puzzle, it didn't go to the next one.  Instead, the auto moved the screen saying I completed it around the board like it was trying to place it in the puzzle. ::)  ((It never fit.  LOL))

Don't know if you need this info or not, but here ya go:

1) Operating system    -                     Windows 98
2) Browser   -                                   Internet Explorer
3) Color setting    -                            32 bit
4) Screen resolution    -                     1280x1042
5) Smooth edges of screen fonts    -    checked
6) What Java you are using                 MS

Joe has released v3.0 ... The following changes have been made :

- added code so the auto uses next to 0% cpu resources when running.
- brought back the [ESC] key in case the mouse goes wild or to stop the auto.
- game screen is moved to the top left corner of the screen before it starts solving (seemed to help fix some issues)
