ok i made it work. it occured to me that i have had similar problems in the past so i downloaded and unzipped and ran to from my zip drive and it worked.
thanks everyone for the suggestions. temporary solution but it worked!

where can i get badgehelper cleaner?
i'll try the msvm in the meantime i guess i forgot that, i am using explorer

I made a typo, it is 2.4 that is the most current version I believe. If you downloaded it from Badgehelp in the last couple days, then it's the most current one. Try using MSVM instead of the Sun Java.  Also what browser are you using? If you're using Firefox try I.E.

you may try deleting it and before you download it again run the badgehelper cleaner...than try it...

i can't find v 2.5 on badgehelp, it only says 2.4 thats the one i am trying

Make sure you have the most current version, which is version 2.5. Try deleting what you have and redownloading, also some information about your system could help.  O0

i am trying to run thunderpopper and it wont run i keep getting a box that says error 13

settings are
windows xp
32 bit
1024x768
smooth edges checked
using sun java
i tried to look for v 2.5 on badgehelp.com, but i only see v 2.4
i never tried this before, only downloaded it for the badge.
