I was having a problem too with Payday Paycheck 7 running, and could NOT figure out why.  I could get the trial version running on my work system, but couldn't get it running at home - even with the same settings. 

I finally figured it out!!!  My work system had a more up-to-date Sun Java than my home system (our EDI uses java).  I updated my java and now version 7 works like a dream!  So if you're a Sun java user and version 7 isn't running at all, try updating the java.  I know it works with at least 2v1.3.1_09.

Does anyone still have the Payday Paycheck version 6? I can't get the newest one 7 to work right on my puter, I've tried all the tips provided here in other threads. Version 6 worked fine on my puter with no problem. Thanks in advance to anyone who may still have what I'm looking for.   :)
