I have XP and when I turned Sun Java off, I was shocked that GG actually worked!  I have the same settings as you guys.  I'm not sure what else could be causing the problem.

k this is my first ever post on here, although i have been using this site for a long time.  I am also having problems with the auto for greenback bayou.  When i open GG it always says waiting for game.  I have the game open already.  I have tried turning off the Sun-Java and rebooting but that didn't work.  I apologize ahead of time if i have forgot any information.

For XP:

Tools/Internet Options/Advanced/uncheck: Java {Sun}  (You will see the Sun Java icon)

Restart your computer.

I have XP and I go up to Tools and then to internet options and look under the advanced tab.  You will see the coffee cup.  Just click it to turn it off then restart pc.

how do you do it on Windows XP, I see no icon, i guess it would help to know what icon i was looking for i suppose, but i have no ICON for Java

Go to control panel. You should see the icon. Open it and click on the browser tab. Uncheck IE.  ;)
