Bob,
WOOOOOHOOOOOO........it works with new Sun Java......with IE6......I had tried it with the "old" version of Sun Java and it did not work.  Sorry it took me sooooo long to answer but I had downloaded sp2 and I had some general computer issues with it,but all are fixed now.
Thanks for the support,

Thanks Granny Bumpers,

When you get a chance, send a problem report from the IE/Sun combination so that I can get some information on where it is failing and whether the failure mode is similar to IE/MS.

Thanks again,
Bob

Bob,
OK...I tried the WCS auto with Firefox and the new Sun Java and it works fine now.
Just...FYI....IE 6 still does not work with auto...even with Sun Java.
Thanks,Bob!

Hi Granny Bumpers,

I notice from all of your problem reports that you are running the MS jvm. I also noticed while testing Solo that the MS jvm version of World Class Solitaire drops a lot of mouse events. I suggest you activate the Sun jvm for using Solo and let me know whether that makes a difference.

Unfortunately, the message of the day is used for more than just announcing new products and I won't be able to get rid of it. However, I would be very surprised if it turns out the message of the day is the cause of the problem.

Thanks,
Bob

Hi Bumpers,

I cannot think of any mechanism by which the message of the day would throw off the auto, but I will keep your comments in mind while looking for potential bugs.

Thanks,
Bob

;)  OK...here is an update on the solution to my problem re: my WCS not working for me after badgehelp changed it back to work on the WCS after Scavenger Hunt.
!) Acomputer geek/buddy from the "other" forum recommended I download Firefox and new Sun Java and WAHLA  it worked!!!!!!!!   Just thought you might like to know this Bob...for future reference!!!
2)  After badgehelp removed the pop up advertising their Phlinx auto.....my WCS solitaire is now fully functional even IE!!!
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.....it was NOT totally my computer.......most of it had to do with that pop up advertisement that threw my computer off......Bob,you might consider NOT doing that any more as it did screw up some peoples autos.
Smiling now cause my WCS is working again!!!

If you are sending a problem report with a screen shot, it can take a while for the file to upload. It's best to wait for the upload to complete or for it to timeout and return an error.

It might take 5 minutes or so to timeout.

 ;) Hi Bob,
OK.....I will click off the sticky computer thingy and try again.....I don't think I did that when I changed it......thanks for your prompt reply....I was surprised the one from the 3rd went thru......cause I have sent at least 1 more that did not go thru...just froze my computer up.
Thanks again,

Hi Bumpers,

I found your problem report from the 3rd. Apparently, you were able to run the auto at that time, but it was having problems moving the cards.

I would have suggested to switch to the Sun JVM because the MS jvm version of World Class Solitaire seems to have problems responding to mouse events, but you say you have already tried that. If you were playing with the sticky computer option, I suggest you make sure it is turned off and restart your computer, then try the Sun jvm.

You say you cannot use WCS at all. Are you getting any error messages? If you get an error message sending the problem report, you should still be able to copy and paste the information into an email and send it to bob@badgehelp.com.

Thanks,
Bob
