This is the best Backspin version ever,if you have a fast computer processor and a fast internet connection. I don't think BH " regresses" programs for a player. :)
My computer it fast. But my connection on the other hand well all I can say is :'(( I live out in no mans land and all that is available is Sattelite :( I can't get cable, dsl nothing. Now I go stuff my face in depression. :P
Oh man, therein lies the problem, I'm afraid.
Satellite is VERY slow. I feel your pain!!
I am SO sorry that this is happening in the USA. Everyone ought to have access to fiberoptic cable burst speed Internet at home if they want to purchase it.

The shots require 2 things: A fast Internet connection AND a fast computer processor speed.
I have posted this in another thread, but will repeat it, hoping it will help someone understand what may be happening in their games.
I have 2 computers which I use for Pogo. One is brand new and is extremely efficient and fast. The other computer was on sale at a time when I needed a notebook connected to our home network. It has a slower Celeron processor, an adequate amt. of RAM added to the factory RAM and is ADEQUATE for most Pogo games.
However, Backspin is one of the few exceptions.
I get scores in the high 200s ( from 250-280) whenever there's a weekly badge challenge using Backspin's custom shot on the BETTER computer. It's faster, interfaces with Pogo and the auto program faster, and my scores reflect this.
The other computer, while connected at the exact same Internet connection speed, has a slower, less efficient, cheaper processor- the Celeron processor.
My scores are really low at times on the older computer with the slower processor.
I can say without a doubt that IF you have a fast computer processor and a fast Internet connection, you should have very good results with Backspin. But if you are on a slow DSL or have a computer that is a year old or older, Backspin MAY NOT get extremely high scores consistently. ( If you have dial up, forget about it.)
It's not the fault of the program, it is a combination of Pogo's quirks in the game, which cannot be controlled, and the two speeds on the user's side.
If you ever go into a full room with a bowling tournament going on and play, watch how the pins fall for the group of the top scoring 5-6 players on the board.
Usually Pogo has Pogo Bowling set so that most players get strikes on the same frames and spares on the same frames. I have come to the conclusion that the game has been programmed by Pogo this way and an auto program may not matter.. if the 7 pin is rigged to stand, it is going to stand.
However, I usually get 2-3 turkeys per game and often will have the high score in a room full of competitive people playing in a tourney and who may or may not be using an auto program.

That Amanda shot I never thought was all that great,in fact I stopped using the Auto because of that shot.
Hopefully the new version will be better and not include that shot.
