Why don't u just use system restore it to where it used to work

If your running XP go to control panel security settings. You should be able to make necessary changes there as long as you have administrator privileges on your pc.

Im having a problem downloading things from a few sites. I used to download from them all the time and now when I try I get a message that says your current security settings do not alllow you to download this file. Ive tried resetting all my security settings but it still wont go back to letting me download. any ideas on why its doing this or how i could fix this?
