Vasun,
I typed in Virginia extradition procedure in Google. You might give that a try. I will post the link here for you, hopefully it will help. I think it is according to what the other state (Tennessee) wants him for. Can you call Virginia and find out how long they give another state to come and pick up the person before they have to release them? I hope this helps some.
Sassy

Not much you can do at this point since Tn has a warrant. Once he has a hearing in Tn The judge may grant bond but unless he has ties to the community that is not likely.  Better yet talk with lawyer they can guide you through this mess

TN says they have a warrant for my son, he is still in a VA jail-does anyone know how long they can hold him?  He waived extradition knowing he is not guilty_ I cant bond him out because (they tell me) that TN wants him, I am a loss and now am bald from pulling out my hair--ANY COMMENTS OR SUGGESTIONS?
