You need to unzip that file and put it in your C:\Windows\System32 folder

Once you put it in there it will run

I am having the same problem did anything that you told the other person. It still says there is a missing file. Any suggestions? Thanks

I did it in the START SEARCH and it said it "succeeded". Will check tonite on if it worked.

Download this : http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/mscomctl.zip

The file should be placed in your C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 directory.

Once it is there click START--> RUN and type "REGSVR32 MSCOMCTL.OCX" (No quotes) in the box.

That should fix the problem.

I saw that we have a Greenback Bayou Challenge coming up so I downloaded Greenbacks Revenge. When I try to run it I get what looks like the MSDOS screen then this Windows Message as it is trying to load <b> "Component 'MSCOMCTL.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered".</b> Also it is loading the desktop shortcut but when I click on the icon I get the same message. I have deleted, rebooted and tried again 3 times with same message.

Please do not make me do Greenback Bayou without the auto.   girls18.gif
