Bet everyone in class does a clip from the film Bobby then - it was the most recent movie about a charismatic person. But when I first read this I immediately remembered Bill Putnam as the President just before the battle in Independence Day. I wanted to vote for him!

When you say the word charismatic I think of Walt Disney and his speech on Opening Day of Disneyland. I know that has to do with my love of Disneyland but he was such a charismatic person I did a paper on him in college. Here is the youtube of opening day - only 27 seconds from July 17, 1955. My father and 6 brothers and I were in the audience but didn't see the park til the next day.

You might want to use the new movie with Johnny Depp, Public Enemies (he plays John Dillinger) or his other one Pirates of The Carribean where he played another charismatic bad guy, Jack Sparrow

http://www.imdb.com/video/imdb/vi3372221209/

Johnny Depp as bank-robbing legend John Dillinger. Outstanding.

Dillinger was a charismatic bad guy, endearing to the public even though he was essentially stealing their money and shooting up their neighborhoods. Is there a more perfect actor to play the role than Depp? He can pretty much take any character and make the audience like him.

Depp = Dillinger is a great equation, even though there's really no math to be done there. It even helps you look past the fact that Depp's antagonist
ill send them to my professor ad hope for the best tysm~

in the movie is played by Christian Bale. The Universal Studios movie also stars Academy Award winner Marion Cotillard ("La Vie En Rose"), and it hits theaters July 1.

Pirates of the Caribbean:Curse of the Black Pearl

Hope this helps you.
