I use Sysgate.  It's free and I never have a problem with it.  After the first day you won't even know it's there unless you install a new program.

Is there a free firewall out there other than zonealarm that will stop incoming and outgoing access? I hate zonealarm. To many buttons and options. I need something simple and free.
