When you uninstalled and installed, there is an option that asks you "Remove my Firefox personal data and customizations". You want to make sure you say yes to that, so everything is deleted. There is more info on how to make sure of that here:

i have uninstalled and installed the firefox 4 times....its looks like its either frozed or crashed,how do i make it work? not sure sure what info you need to know.my google is the only browser thats working at the moment....any help i appreciated
