I was able to purchase 7 @ 4 gems, 6 @ 6 gems, 7 @ 8 gems, and 10 @ 12 gems.  Just making up for what I missed while I was so ill and didn't have a working computer to call my own.

Is this a one time deal?  How much are the legendary badge usually?

Edited: Got 4!  I didn't get the legendary badges because they weren't on sale, but I got a MnM for 4 gems, one for 6, and one for 8! GREAT sale!

Pogo has re-released 36 previously-retired Mix-n-Match badges which are on sale for 4 to 12 gems each.

To find these badges easier, sort by "Retires" and look for the badges marked "Re-released" retiring on May 24th.

These badges were originally released in March 2014 and February 2015.
