All true.  The game is rough much of the time.  I can only say I'm grateful for House of Cards and some of the freebies.  Otherwise, the game would be impossible for me most of the time.

I know this is an old thread, but I have to say... ANYTHING extra they offer and charge for is overpriced. I did one of the seasonals and while you do get lots of great powerups, you only get them when winning a game. Some of those game levels are nigh unto impossible to win, even with powerups - including trying with multiple powerups.

It sure seemed overpriced, but I assumed I just didn't understand what value I was getting for my gems.

Some people may have gotten more out of it than I did and may not have had any issues but the gem cost and the return on the investment did not work for me.
