Mine stays logged in except for cookie cleaning day ... sorry I cant help

Is there someway to make the stay logged in forever feature to work or am I the only one that it doesn't work for.  I've tried not cleaning cookies and cleaning them, and nothing seems to make it work.  Just seems like a hassel to have to log in everytime.
