Diamondbacks will miss him and they eliminated the Cardinals. Now today (since rain postponed the game yesterday), Cubs will play doubleheader today vs. Pirates. IF the Cubs win BOTH of them games, they will clinch the playoffs. Astros lost big time vs. Brewers last night. So Cubs has a chance to pull it off. Hey gocubs2219, welcome and good luck :) game starts this afternoon and i will watch them. So i know the Cubs will win today. They got Mark Prior pitching, after a disappoint 9-7 loss with Carlos Zambrano on Thursday.

Yep. Phillies are eliminated from playoff contention.
Marlins are not clinched yet. They are ahead of Cubs and Astros. They need to win some games to clinch. Cubs, Astros, Marlins (any both can make it) Dodgers are out anyways.

Red Sox made the playoffs!!!!
Marlins can clinch with Astros and Dodgers loss, but it seems Astros won. I thought Marlins clinch because the Phillies lost. Well now Cubs lost and Astros won, it seems they tied. If its tied by 162 games, Cubs still gonna make it because they got the best record of Division. Mariners are gone.
