python is preinstalled on my Compaq and my HP...it is not hurting anything by being on your computer so i would leave it alone

Python is a programming language. Whether or not it is the same thing on your pc I could not tell you. As the last person mentioned if it were spyware it would be detected by your scanner.

if it were spyware it should show up when you ran a spyware check.......

was going thru my add and remove programs what is this python 2.2.1 should I remove it? there is another python 2.2 combined win32 extensions I get stupid and download stuff next thing I know I screw up my puter Just need to know if this is adware spyware or any other crapware thanks for any and all help
