Always leave the smooth edges disabled. You really don't need it and it only causes the autos to malfunction when turned on. ;)

So do we want them disabled or enabled?

mine says disabled, how do i enable it if that is what i need to do?

When you click it....it will bring up another screen that shows what version of windows you have, what your resolution is and if your smooth fonts are disabled.  I just clicked on it and this is what you'll see in the new window:

Note: Javascript must be enabled for this to work.
