Having lived in Atlanta area since 1953 the King family has been a part of daily history  here. The legacy she and her husband left will never be forgotten.

So sad. I wish I would have been able to go to one of the Freedom Concerts. Such history, RIP Coretta.

From CNN: Asked how he found out about her death, Young said: "I understand she was asleep last night, and her daughter tried to wake her up."

No matter how she passed away, I'm sure everyone will remembe this wonderful and couragous woman for all the great things she has done to help her husbands' legacy live on

Widow of Martin Luther King, Jr passed away this morning.  :'( Age 78
She had a stroke and heart attack in August and maybe died from that. I believe she died in her sleep.
