Yes, sorry about that it is under Tools. The website I copied the info from had it wrong.

open a folder and click on tools, then folder options

I'm doing something wrong. When I open any folder and click on view, I don't have folder options.

First open any folder and go to the View, Folder Options dialog box and select the File Types tab. Then find the type of file you want to be asked about, select it and press the Edit button. In the bottom-right corner of the dialog box that appears you can check the box so that it always asks you.


You can also change your Folder Options via the Control Panel.

just download another file and recheck the box.

On the file download box I accidently unchecked the box that says Always ask before opening this type file
How do I get it to ask again?
