Ahh interesting when I searched the site it told me no more downloads. Good work Jeff. 8)

That's why I was telling John... I figured if you found the link you understood that MS didn't support it anymore (thus it wasn't hosted on a MS site)...

Microsuck doesn't support their JVM anymore (thus the download link wasn't a microsoft.com URL

I knew that.  I didnt get that MVM off Microsoft's site, but I will continue to use MVM because its a lot better than that Sun thing.  Personal preference ya know... I know some people who hate MVM.

Yeah that doesn't surprise me one bit... It's all about user functionality... If MS is packaging its JVM with the OS the user would never find it nessesary to get the Sun JVM... So why wouldn't the coder write the program for the most widely accepted standard out there... But now that the MS JVM will soon be slowly going the way of the buffalo you guys can start working it to go solely for the Sun JVM... I wasn't trying to hate on the coders.. They just usually try to follow the standard that most users are using... So it makes perfect sense to get the MS JVM first, then to go with the Sun JVM... And that's why monopolies are bad kids... ;)

In actuality, ZW's programs were coded on a Sun computer. The autos are made to run on boxes that are plugged into the wall and flipped on. Wasn't by choice.

Microsuck doesn't support their JVM anymore (thus the download link wasn't a microsoft.com URL)... BIG lawsuit with Sun Microsystems... $1.6 billion dollar settlement between MS and SMS was just announced last week...  The Sun JVM is MUCH better from a coding standpoint...  Problem is, that so many people simply create their programs to MS's standard (i.e. Pogo.com or the autos) that they fail to always take into account the certain differences in the Sun JVM... So that's why you see the updates on the autos for the Sun JVM or in WordzW's progs to click the option for Sun...  All versions of MS Windows from XP w/ Sp1 and on will not include the MS JVM... So it won't be updated ever again... That's really the main reason the switch to Sun's JVM is important... As soon as 1.43 comes out there will be big optimizations that will be released in it... That's why the MS JVM was so much faster (MS coded it, therefor it was completely optimized for Windows users; progs coded to the MS JVM standard left many *nix and MacOS ppl SOL as it has many problems with the Sun JVM)... Plus the Sun JVM had FAR fewer secuirty flaws, as seems to be MS's main flaw in their quality assessment of most of their programs...

Here is the direct link to Microsoft's VM.

This is the program itself.  Just click save or open and it should save or open... and install and work just fine.  I just tried it out to make sure.

I just checked the MS website apparently they no longer offer it for download because they do not support it any longer. :'(

I imagine your running 32 bit color with the smooth edging turned off? If not you should be.

Could be a problem with your java as tatersalad states. Some players have been having trouble with sun java. Try installing Microsoft Java Virtual Machine make sure you turn off sun java and enable MSJVM.
