is anyone really on a paying membership at pogo??? after last years mcdonald game i though there be tons of people who still have pogo for free... my free pogo ends March 9 2007 Wooo ....... got to love how those coupons stacked (2 free years)

Doubt it. Unless it gets to the point where Pogo feels that SlingDot is a competitive threat, I can't see them trying to one-up them. Plus, with all the technical issues Pogo's been having lately, (*puts on flame-retardent suit*) they would be smart to take their time before releasing any new features/games until they're proven to operate as intended.
I mean, after all, if MS knew to pull their collective heads out of their arses and live beta products before rushing to release them...

bad thing though is that 90% of their free games suck LOL :))

You are incorrect, only 1 title (Omaha Hold'Em) in the next 2 months of releases will be in the Free section of games, as very clearly stated in the current News Spot article. There will be a minimum of 5 new games added to the DotSpot between 3/15 and 4/30.
Additional features shortly to make their way to the site:
1. Pals Lists - end of March - unlimited Pals for members, free users limited to 3 Pals
2. Game Ranking System - end of March - members can earn Master Level Stamps not available to nonmembers.
3. SlingPets - early April - two SligPets (one dog, one cat) available to free users. 20+ available to members and future SlingPet features will be limited to members only.
...and of course current features:
1 to 1 chat
Triple Dot Awards - You refer to this as "old news." I'd direct you towards the drawings winners - 85% of which have been DotSpot members.
Access to existing DoSpot Games
Current and future members only Quests and Stamps (72% of Quests thus far have been memebrs only)
So the short answer is, in the next 60 days members will get:
5 or more new exclusive games
8-10 new members-only Quests and Stamps
5 features with the majority of functionality being members-only
And most of the cash we'll be giving away
How's that?

game ranking---- this was to come out first week of march now it seems it has been pushed to Late march (doubtful probally april )
SLINGPETS---- cant they stop ripping pogos ideas off ,, i mean come on slingdot come up with your own freaking ideas (early april)

interesting since stamps are only given out 3 at a time in 15 day cycles...... I wonder if this means they will start pushing out more then 3 at a time or Making them 1 at week badges

they listed 3 so I wonder what the other 2 are....
this summer will be a interesting time to see how slingdot does.... I still say if they cant pull something major out of nowhere by the end of summer they will just be another BLEH place to go
