Thinking about the name, I would hazard to guess it stands for "Pogo Service Monitor". The name and activity seem consistent with a service monitor.

An automated service monitor would access rooms in rapid succession verifying whether the room is still functioning either restarting the room if it is not functioning or alerting a system administrator to investigate the problem.

Guess more detail would help! They are poeple on pogo. There name starts with psvcmon then a four digit number they all have 0 tokens and they just go in and out of rooms. I have seen talk of them in this forum before
