Another recipe Hippo won't like. ::) :P

Makes you wonder what he does eat, huh?  :))

Now we know why he was skin and bones!

I used to make that when I was a kid, cuz Ma said I couldnt eat mac n cheese for dinner ... I had to eat some sort of protein - so I made that and it hushed her up quite well!

Here's something my mother taught me to make.  It's simple, Cheap, Good.

What you need:

1lb hamburger
1 can condensed creme of mushroom soup
I box mac & cheese
1 small-medium onion.

Directions:

Dice onion (if used)
start water boiling for macaroni
Brown hamburger with diced onion. Drain. Set aside for now.

Boil macaroni according to directions.

After macaroni is cooked add browned hamburger, cheese flavor packet and creme of mushroom soup.  Mix it all up together adding milk to desired thickness. (approx. 1/4-1/2 cup should do)

Now I KNOW it looks really gross.  But it tastes good and if you add a green veggie on the side you can feed a family of 3-4 for about 5 bucks.
