ZeroSkate, go to http://www.java.com/ to download the sun jvm. The sun.com link is for programmers.

I suggest, as others have done, you go to playbuddy to ask the extraction error question. You might also try deleting what you downloaded and try downloading it again as you might just have a corrupt file.
