hi again fatkid , i have direct x 9 , i also just installed the dll , and it has came up with an extra error . ( the procedure entry point _binksetpan@12 could not be located in the dynamic link lybrary bink binkw32.dll ... i also installed that dll  thinking it was that to but still getting the error as above ,, lol , i wish i was good at this ,,, any help would be appreciated ,, thankyou

thanx fatkid that worked a treat .. kind of new to this game . looking everywhere means about 4 pages .. lol  ::) , got bored after that ,, thankyou again

Obviously you haven't looked everywhere... I typed the file name into google and 15 seconds later I found the missing DLL file you needed.
Here's the download.

Also a suggestion... As this DLL file is used for the follwing;
"Pure3D Device Driver Interface (D3D - DX8)"

You may want to look into upgrading to Directx9, as it is a MUCH better version of DX than DX8...
You can download DX from Microsoft here.

Let us know if that helps.

hi their thanks but nothing has worked . i have tried looking for this dll everywhere , so hopefully someone may come across it . i,m not sure if just adding the dll will make the game work ,or wether i need the totally re-install the game , but thankyou anyway for the help /./

Have you tried alcohol 120% to burn it? I'm not sure if it will work for games  but it's worth trying.  :-\

did you download the game from the net from like Kazza or Grokster, I always have that problem when I get games off them...???

hi their i was wondering if anyone could help me , i installed a game , and it comes up with an error ,, missing dll ,, PDDIDX8R.DLL .. if anyone could help me i would really appreciate it ,, thankyou
