Yes it keeps for about a week I believe LOL there is never any left so I really don't know  :)))

sounds good. it should last at least a week or longer. i use to work for a place that made it for chix broc ziti and other things. We had to make it every other day or so, but it should keep for a week at least.

Garlic Butter is great!! :D

I use the side my knife blade to grind the salt and garlic together, forming a paste. (You can also use a mortar & pestle, but a knife is easier to clean...LOL) This makes the finished product nice and smooth.

Before I mix the garlic paste into the butter, I like to add some chopped cilantro.

Yummy! 8)

2 sticks of unsalted butter, at room temperature
1/4 cup finely chopped garlic
Salt
Freshly ground white pepper

In a mixing bowl, combine all of the ingredients together. Mix well. Season with salt and pepper. Store the butter in either ramekins or form into a log and wrap in plastic wrap until your ready to use it. The butter can be used to top just about anything!
