p.s.
it doesn't have to be Strawberry Jell-O
any flavor works I just like the red flavors...lol... here is another one for Slush Punch that was just sent to me>>>

Slush Punch  (not slushy)
*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups white sugar
6 cups water
2 (3 ounce) packages strawberry flavored gelatin mix
1 (46 fluid ounce) can pineapple juice
2/3 cup lemon juice
1 quart orange juice
2 (2 liter) bottles lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage

Directions:
In a large saucepan, combine sugar, water, and straw-
berry flavored gelatin. Boil for 3 minutes. Stir in
pineapple juice, lemon juice, and orange juice. Divide
mixture in half, and freeze in 2 separate containers.
When ready to serve, place the frozen contents of one
container in a punch bowl, and stir in 1 bottle of lemon-
lime soda until slushy.

when I was younger this one below was a favorite

Strawberry Slush
Mix and set aside:
4 1/2 cups boiling water
2 (3 ounce) packages strawberry Jell-O
Boil together:
1 cup granulated sugar
2 cups water
Add:
3 (10 ounce) packages frozen strawberries
1 (46 ounce) can unsweetened pineapple juice
1 (16 ounce) can frozen lemonade
Add 3 cups vodka. Freeze. Makes a little over an ice cream pail.
make sure you stir it every 90 minutes or so  as it helps to make it slushy

My ma used to make something like that, but with gin. Slow gin maybe? I dont know .. not a big drinker so dont laugh at me, but I'll see if I can find the recipe - it came out bright red and was great by the spoonful, of course I could only take a spoonful because I was young enough that she woulda kicked my azz if she caught me in it.

Kool-Aid Slushy
1 envelope unsweetened Kool-Aid
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup water
7 cups milk

Dissolve soft drink mix and sugar completely in water. Stir into milk in nonmetal pitcher. Serve at once or chill and stir before serving (or beat with rotary beater until blended and foamy, about 1 minute and serve at once).

Fill your blender with 10 oz. of ice. Add 4 oz. of syrup (more or less, to suit your taste) and 2 oz of water. the water helps crush the ice. blend till smooth. You may have to remove the container and shake it once or twice during the blending so the ice drops to the bottom and gets thoroughly crushed. Makes approximately 12 oz.

Or
1 sm. Jello
Crushed ice
Add fruit if you want to.

Mix Jello with 1/4 cup hot water and dissolve. Put all ingredients into blender and mix until completely dissolved. Yield: 4 servings

cranky we made these for the kids they loved it. Long time ago i used to make these with rum for jello shots!

Thank you everyone and i will be trying to make some more tomorrow,

Kids now want to know how about some Italian ice?
