Here's a side dish for your presentation: SPIDER COOKIES!

Get a bag of each of your favorite types of melting chips:  chocolate, pb, butterscotch, whatever, OH and it's cool to get white chocolate chips and put red food coloring in it..
Melt each type separately, adding a thick cornstarch/water mixture into each flavor, until the chocolates are melted and hot, but thick (but not chunky.. make sure temp is low or use double boiler)

AND THEN.. bring out the baking sheets covered with WAX PAPER.  Every couple of inches drop a fingertip-full amount of chinese crispy noodles.  carefully spoon your choice of melted delight over each spider skeleton, covering it completely and not worrying about the mess.. the wax paper will do its job.  When you've filled up a baking sheet, put it in the refrigerator (or freezer, if you pay close attention) until the chocolate or whatever has hardened.

You'll end up with a variety of spiders in your cookie collection, and they taste yummy!  You can even put 2-3 in a snack bag as halloween handouts.  :)

Here is a drink to go with it.

Brain Hemmorage
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ingredients:
1 oz Peach schnapps
1 tsp Bailey's irish cream
1/2 tsp Grenadine
Mixing instructions:
This is a great drink to serve on Halloween. First, pour the peach schnapps. Then, slowly pour the Irish Cream. Do not mix! The Creme will clump together and settle at the bottom of the schnapps. It will have the appearance of an internal organ!! Pour the grenadine over the Creme for a completely disgusting looking, yet thoroughly tasty party drink!

INGREDIENTS:
2 small or 1 large package of lime gelatin
1 16-oz. can fruit cocktail or 1 1/2 cups grated carrots
2 surgical or rubber gloves
1. Prepare the gelatin according to the package instructions.

2. Transfer to a dome-shaped mold. (A mixing bowl will do.)

3. Drain the fruit cocktail and add it, or the grated carrots, to the gelatin when it's half set.

4. When the salad mold is ready, unmold it onto a platter and drape the surgical gloves on each side. Makes 10 servings.
