Santa could not get it work with AOL either I had tyo use IE.

i have done all the things you have told me homer............honestly lol

now im getting a pop up saying cnanastnasta has encountered a problem and needs to close. we are sorry  inconvenience

please tell microsoft about this problem and a buton to either send report or dont send

does this mean something to you

It's probably the smooth edges.

Go into control panel and double click system

Go to advanced tab

Click on the settings button under performance.

Scroll down a little and you will see the smooth edges of fonts option. Uncheck the box.

Click apply and ok and it should work. O0

k homer i just checked that.........

could there be any other reasons canasta is not working for me????

i just tried it again and downloads goes to clock and does nothing ................says waiting for game

are there any special settings for the table?

im using windows xp
aol
32 bit
1024x768
not sure about edges thingy :-[
java??..............sorry lol.............might have a prob with java cos now pogo wont load at all says got a java prob ...........i will reboot and check that out
i have just clicked the link on a message in here cos link is still black on badgehelp and not clickable, it downloads and opens and i click play now (green button) and it goes down to the clock, but doesnt do anything when i reopen it it says waiting for game but the shareware is running cos im down to 98% but not played any games.............do i need to change any setting on the game?? can you play with 2 or 4 players and private room ect??

2) Browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, AOL, Mozilla, Opera etc)
3) Color setting (24 bit, 32 bit etc)
4) Screen resolution (800x600, 1024x768)
5) Smooth edges of screen fonts checked or unchecked
6) What Java you are using
7) Is anything at all happening when you start the program

please help i cant get canasta auto to work, it opens ok and goes down next to the clock on the puter and the shareware is even ebbing away, but all its says is waiting for game????

make it simple please computer illiterate here lol ;)
