Without an updated OS you are pretty much out of luck.

Windows 98 isn't even supported by Microsoft anymore which means you are missing many security updates. I highly suggest you upgrade your OS to Windows XP and you may even need to upgrade your pc depending on your specs.

The upgrade cd for Windows could run up to $100. Depends where you look. You could check ebay for a bargain.

My recommendation is that you purchase a new pc. Seeing how you are using Windows 98 your pc is probably 6 years or older and likely in need of memory upgrades and a larger hard drive. A new pc will run you about $300 or more.

If I had anything other than W98 I would have FoaK.  :P I need a fix or suggestion for DD.   :'((

I've gone through some of the back posts but I didn't find anything that explained the problem that I'm having with DD.  It rolls the dice fine but when it comes to the end of the race, it stops so I actually have to be in front of my puter to keep it going.  Any fixes??
