I would have to agree with homer on that one. That sand can get into ur laptop and eventually can overheat ur machine due to the fans that work overtime to keep ur machine kewl. With the wind picking up the sand and causing it to get into ur machine n stuff. If that gives you sum good advice...it is very expensive as he mention'd and the connection isn't as great as well. As my sister has one of these and she complains about it abit. Just sum tips for you .....but yes you can purchase these things and be able to connect away from home.

You need a wireless mobile network card from an ISP.

BTW, this isn't a cheap option.
