your controls for active x should be explorer,tools,internet options,security tab,click the"custom level" tab down at the bottom and theres your check box..

and i thought micro$oft was letting anyone who had xp installed download updates for a while whether it was a pirated version or not,read that in a few places.

that will happen if ur Windows XP is downloaded from a friend or other person, but if you bought it from a stoe, it shouldn't do that

Well, ever try www.windowsupdate.com ??  I was able to run it... But thats usually what I do anyways... just type in the addy.

when i clicked on windows update in start it didn't take me their the was blank help plz
