Lol- this happened with my first too- I was induced and it took 24 hours and 55 minutes ... but plenty of drugs so I slept through it all  :P

The same thing happened to me with my first child, (yes, i'm a girl, despite the screen name).  You'll be fine, just ask for DRUGS.  Good luck and i wanna hear details, (that'll freak out some peeps).

Update
Have a new ultrasound monday (oct.11) - if all is ok we are bumping the induction date up to Tuesday!!!!

Im not due til the first week of November, but because I am having some blood pressure problems, my dr wants to be able to "monitor" everything--- SOOOOO I am scheduled to be induced Oct. 21 at 5pm est. Wish me luck :)
