you dont need to have a card to discard to meld out  :)

Without a discard?  So what would be the last card you discard then?  I had all 4 red 3's, and all 4 black 3's and an Ace, and I discarded the Ace and it didn't do anything all the black 3's just sat in my hand.  Im puzzled LOL

I've done it. You have to do it without a discard, maybe that was the problem?

I was playing Canasta tonight vs the bot, and somehow he melded out on me with 4 red 3's and 4 black 3's......i tried doing the same and it wont let me do it.  any hints on how to do this?  Im just curious as to how the computer gets to do it but i can't seem to  !@#$
