I just tested version 1.3 and it works fine. My winning percentage lifetime is 45% and I have used it to complete all 50 ranks.

Here are my results.

Winning Percentage: 67%

Mine works pretty well.  You're right, it doesn't win as many games as playing by hand, but there doesn't seem to be any glitches with the auto that I have noticed.

I find this game is more about the luck of the deal than anything... whether playing by auto or not you can win 10 games in a row or lose 100 in a row...

as long as you're at least coming out with a treasure chest per game then you are at least making some progress towards a badge
